Independent Project

    iNifinity is a dichotomous project, including the duo projects, the past - 44:44, and the future - Thousand Forces. With these two projects, the present - iNifinity completes. 

​

 "History does not repeat itself, but it does often rhyme."

    iNifinity is from a question of me. 

​

    I saw many things happened in every corner of this world. I saw things happened around me. Truth has hauled into buried deep.

​

    I remember on the B line, the man stood behind me, his body pressed against my back and his erection poked my butt. While people on the train stayed silent. 

​

    I remember the day I got dragged into a dark valley and almost got raped.

​

    I remember the day my mom cried in my room and months later told me that was because her friend from childhood, my beloved uncle, was murdered by government. Because he knew somethings. They were afraid he might tell. It says suicide on the paper. 

​

    I saw people roar. But small. 

 

    I saw people live, living, lived. But so little.

​

    I laid my eyes in history. Things happened in a loop. Can't turn it off.

​

    They crashed the existence of every individual. Criticize the love. Prohibit our mouths. Delete our tears. They are afraid for sure. The flood every single one of us unite. 

​

    iNifinity begins with my infinite emotions. I killed it half way out. I project myself into an object to witness a history.

​

    From the June Fourth incident to the Hong Kong protest, and now the outbreak in Wuhan, sprawling to the world, governments and media have exposed their impediments to the truth. 

​

    iNifinity is a project communicating this relationship by virtually constructing a space of such triangle. 

    iNifinity is interactive.

    User enters the 44:44, the past, while user can click and touch but it received no response.

    Then, when user falls to Thousand Forces, the future, user is able to play in this space. Every string is linking to an actual event and the size and thickness of this string indicate the effectiveness and the state of trueness of this event.
